Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has approved the dissolution of the board of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

Multiple reports suggest the board led by Mr. Olaniyan Akoro will no longer continue and will be replaced by Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami as the club's new Chairman ahead of the new season.
Shooting Stars endured a tough 2024/25 season, slumping from a 2nd-placed league standing in January to finishing the season 8th.
The club was also disqualified from the President's Federations Cup due to fielding an ineligible player.
