Osimhen, who last weekend while playing for Galatasaray picked of a knock has been ruled out due to a muscle injury, dealing a significant blow to the Nigeria’s attacking options.

Eguvoen speaking to the media reveal how big of a miss the 25 year-old is, pointing out the alternatives to his position.

“It’s a collective effort, it’s a team sport not individual sport. We are in touch, he’s a huge miss, we all know how important and impactful Osimhen can be, but we have other players who can step into his shoes.” Said the trainer.

“He’s not here physically but I am one hundred percent sure he’s here spiritually with us.”
