Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce has disclosed that Bright Osayi-Samuel is currently grappling with an ankle injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osayi-Samuel, as indicated in a statement on the club's official website, sustained the injury during the 0-0 stalemate against Konyaspor on Tuesday.
The right-back was substituted by Mert Muldur in the 52nd minute of the game.
However, it remains uncertain whether the player will face an extended spell on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old has amassed 20 league appearances for the Yello Canaries this season, netting three goals in the process.
Although Fenerbahce are mostly likely to finish second with three games to the end of the season but having the Nigeria international sit out of any of this games is still of a big miss.
