Paul Onuachu's agent, Resat Can Ozbudak, has confirmed that the lanky striker is eager to secure a permanent transfer to Trabzonspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan from Southampton last summer following the Saints relegation to the Sky Bet Championship.
Southampton now have returned to the top flight, English Premier League and there’s been debate over the possible return of Onuachu to the club.
However, Ozbudak has revealed Onuachu to will prepare to stay with the Turkish outfit.
"We will meet and talk with Paul in a short time," Resat Can Ozbudak told Sports Digitale via Daily Post.
"He wants Trabzonspor. He loves Turkey. He does not want to go to England. We are waiting for Southampton, because they need to reach an agreement with Southampton regarding loan or transfer."
Onuachu in the Turkish Super Lig at the just concluded season score 15 goals in 21 appearances helping Trabzonspor, earned a spot in the UEFA Europa League.
