Second-tier side Okwahu United have announced the dismissal of head coach Sarfo Castro.
According to a statement by the club, the former Heart of Lions coach has been relieved of his duties because of unsatisfactory performance and misconduct.
The text read: “The management of Sports Link Company Limited (managers of Okwawu United Football Club) wishes to inform its Supporters and the general public that it has part way with the head coach Sarfo Castro effective today due to unsatisfactory performance and attitude which is not in line with the company's policy.
“We like to state that, a new Head Coach will be appointed as soon as possible as the current technical team takes charge for the time being.”
Okwahu United are currently eighth on the zone III table of the Division One League after 10 matches.
