Ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Morocco's ASFAR, Remo Stars coach Daniel Ogunmodede is drawing on his team's past experience to fuel their ambitions, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Despite failing to advance beyond the preliminary round in their previous two attempts, Ogunmodede believes that his team's increased experience will serve them well.
"We learn from our experiences, and I believe we will do better this time around. It's our third time on the continent, and we're more experienced now," he told CAF media.
The Sky Blue Stars will host the first leg at their stadium in Ikenne this weekend, and Remo Stars’ confidence suggests they are ready to make a stronger impact in the competition.
