Shooting Stars technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote has called on his players to be mentally prepared for their match against Plateau United on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ogunbote emphasized the need for his team to expect a tough battle and be confident of securing a positive result.
The match is set to take place at the New Jos Stadium in Jos, and Ogunbote is aware that Plateau United will be fighting to avoid relegation.
"We have everything going fine for us as we head into this game," Ogunbote told his players. "But we must be aware that this is a team fighting to avoid the drop, so expect them to come at us with force.
"All we need to do is to be focused and play our game with a positive mindset."
Shooting Stars drew 0-0 with Plateau United in the same fixture last season.
