As announced on the club's official website, French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is a new A.C. Milan player.

This is a return to the rossoneri for Bakayoko, who spent the 2018/2019 season at the San Siro, appearing in 31 Serie A games and scoring once. He then went on loan to Monaco and Napoli before returning. He joins Milan on a two-year loan deal that could become permanent if certain conditions are met. Pioli now has another option in midfield, especially as a Franck Kessie replacement, who will be absent in January to play the AFCON with the Ivory Coast.

Milan's signings could continue after Bakayoko, with the rossoneri close to Romain Faivre of Brest after having secured Yacine Adli from Bordeaux. The evident French connection continues for Milan.

"AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko from Chelsea FC on a two-year loan, which could turn into an obligation if certain conditions are met.

Born in Paris on August 17, 1994, Tiémoué Bakayoko started his professional career at Rennes and then played for Monaco, Chelsea and Napoli before coming back to AC Milan, where he had already played during the 2018/19 season, featuring 42 times and scoring one goal." reads the club's website.
