"With Courtois, Casteels, Vandevoordt, and Penders, among others, some fantastic goalkeepers have recently been developed here. I'm really looking forward to working with the goalkeeping coaches here and hope to follow in their footsteps and be just as successful for this great club," says the ambitious KRC Genk's new number 26."
Standing at an impressive 1.95 meters, he cuts a commanding figure between the posts, pairing his physical presence with exceptional reflexes. Beyond his shot-stopping abilities, he excels with the ball at his feet, an essential trait for the modern goalkeeper. KRC Genk prioritizes.
His composure and precision in distribution were particularly evident last season, when he emerged as the standout goalkeeper for passing accuracy in the Austrian Bundesliga. His ability to initiate play from the back makes him a vital asset in Genk’s build-up strategy.
