Oshoala scored one in their 2-1 loss to Washington Spirit in Bay FC's first-ever playoff match.

The reigning African women's footballer of the year scored from close range after connecting to an assisted by Penelope Hocking's cross in the 82nd minute.

The Spirit restored parity 4 minutes later through defender Tara McKeown to take the encounter to extra time.

However, an own goal by Bay FC's Caprice Dydasco in the first half of extra time sealed the victory for the Spirit at Audi Field.
