Nasarawa Amazons and Bayelsa Queens, who started on a winning note in their first matches, could not be separated when the two took the pitch at the Remo Stars Stadium.

The contested tie saw 10-man Prosperity Girls play a 1-1 draw against Nasarawa Amazons.

The Amazons were in front in the 56th minute after a handball inside the area saw Jennifer Oliver sent off and Jenat Akekeromowei scoring from the spot to hand Nasarawa the lead.

However, substitute Dooshima Tarnum stunned her former club to level matters for Bayelsa Queens.

Bolaji Olamide's 14-minute goal was all the Sky Blue Queens needed to record a consecutive win.

Olamide's 15th goal of the season sank the Abuja side, who lost their opening match.

In the last game of the day, Rivers Angels denied reigning champions Edo Queens their first win following a 1-1 result.

Edo Queens were in front courtesy of a goal from Emem Essien in the 26th minute, but Valentina Uroko's own goal 12 minutes later saw the two sides share spoils.
