NPFLLaLigaU15Promises: Beyond Limits FA start title defense with a comeback win over Lobi Stars

Remo Stars Beyond Limits FA got a slim win over Lobi Stars to kick start the 2023 NPFL LaLiga U15 Promises at the Remo Stars Stadium on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The win didn't come easy as the Ikenne based team had to rally back from two goals down to beat the Makurdi based team after 60 minutes of regulation time.

Lobi Stars took the lead against the run of play in the 20th minute through Kenneth Mshi who became the first player to score at this year's tournament.

Mshi doubled the lead five minutes later to give Lobi Stars a comfortable lead to close the half 0-2.

With 20 minutes to end of the tie, Beyond Limits pulled one back after Muiz Raheem was brought down as  Emmanuel Adeboye scored the penalty in the second half.

As the match moved to the end with added time of 8 minutes, the Hosts completed the comeback after Opeoluwa Yusuf lobbed over the goalkeeper right inside the box in the 7th additional minute.

Before the end of the final whistle, Seun Ayoola with an acrobatic finish made sure Remo Stars win their first match of the tournament.
