The 2023 Dozy Mmobuosi Super Cup Football Tournament winners's prize has been increased according to news reaching Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The tournament which is in conjunction with the Nigeria Premier Football League is a preseason tournament for teams in the league.
The competition made it debut last year awarded the winner 100 million, but this year's edition will see the winner cart away with 1 billion naira.
This is according to a release which also revealed that the number of participating team has been expanded from 4 to 12 and all selected from from the NPFL.
The report added that the first runner-up team will smile home with ?200m while the sum of ?20m will go for each of the 12 teams for their participation.
Maiden edition winner, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan got the 100 million naira prize after beating Enyimba FC in the final.
