Enugu Rangers have commenced screening with a view to raising a strong and viable Team B ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League season and other competitions next season.
The screening which began on Wednesday at the training pitch of the Rangers permanent camp at the Independence Layout, Enugu near the Sports Council Complex has witnessed the influx of players from within and outside the state who have come with the objective of warming themselves into the hearts of the Enugu side’s B team technical crew.
The club’s director of media and publicity, Foster Chime disclosed that the head coach of the B team Ndubuisi Ajomiwe and those assisting him have promised to be as transparent as possible to ensure that the best talents emerge from the tedious screening exercises.
Chime told Goal: “The screening exercise will cut across all age strata and it will afford skillful players and youths in Enugu and beyond the singular opportunity of displaying their talents as well as play their way into the main team if they are exceptional.
“The exercise will last for three weeks to ensure that everyone present is given the benefit of doubt and opportunity to play to his full potentials.”
