The Ija ball tactician spoke after his side staged a comeback in the NPFL rescheduled game to beat 2022 champions, Rivers United 2-1 at the Remo Stars Stadium.

Getting a win over the Pride of Rivers for the first time, Ogunmodede stated "obviously we played against maybe the best team presently in the NPFL based on what they have been doing recently. I think they are a good side. It looked like a final game because there was no other game in other match centres. We want to arrive at 56, but they made it difficult."

With a point behind Rangers International, Ogunmodede was asked if the title is in view, he replied "I think it is in view because my friend (Rangers'coach) said they are still building so we are trying to capitalise on the fact that they are still building, we are trying to get the trophy at the end."
