NPFL sanctions Warri Wolves for failure to provide adequate security

Warri Wolves have been charged for breaching the Framework and Rules of the NPFL during the course of their match against Rangers on Sunday.

Wolves failed to provide prompt, adequate and effective security for their home match leading to the delay of the 4pm kickoff.

The Warri club have been fined N1 million for failing to provide prompt, adequate and effective security for the Matchday 2 fixture.

The club have been directed to put in place an effective matchday security arrangement & also submit its details to the NPFL26 board within 7 working days from the date of notice.

Warri Wolves have 48 hours from the date of notice to appeal this sanction.
