NPFL: League bloggers roll out nominees for player, coach for February

The Nigeria League bloggers have released the list of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL players and coaches nominated for the award of the month of February, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

After a playing five matches in the 2023 NPFL season in the month of February, the organisers of the award have released the list of players who displayed commendable performance during these matches.

The nominees are: Joseph Atule of Lobi Stars have carved out a name for himself after a couple of assists and a goal this period.

Uche Collins of Akwa United also makes the cut after scoring three goals in the month in review helping his side to two wins, two draws and a loss.

Robert Mizo of Bayelsa United who shoulders the responsibilities of scoring most goals of the newly promoted side is also in contention for the award.

Amas Obasogie of Bendel Insurance gets nominated this month after his great heroics in the front of the goal post. A safe hand who has kept in all 9 matches for the Edo Arsenal with seven clean sheets and three conceded goals.

Enyimba's Chukwuemeka Obioma is the top scorer of the league with seven goals. The man who can't stop scoring right now for the Peoples' Elephant gets the nod.

Imade Osarenkhoe is the second joint scorer of the league and plays for Bendel Insurance. He scored twice in February to increase his tally to six this season.

For the Coach of the month of February, the nominees are:

Top of the league group A log, Bendel Insurance's Monday Odigie, Akwa United's Deji Ayeni, group B leaders, Lobi Stars Coach, Mohammed Baba-Ganaru and Enyimba FC's Finidi George.
