Kebbi United Football Club has received a boost from the state government. Governor Bagudu donated N10 million naira to the team and promised more investment.
He made the pledge after the Ramadan break fast (iftar) when the players and officials of the club paid him a visit on Monday at Birnin kebbi
The Governor stated his commitment towards sustaining support for the development of sports in the state particularly the state team.
Bagudu commended the efforts of the club in its recent success in the Nigerian Professional League (NPL) as well as its feat against Zamfara United.
He appreciated the coach and his colleagues for making Kebbi their second home and urge the team to stay focus and determine to achieve success while expressing delight on the discipline, dedication and resilience of the Club.
