Enyimba head coach Yemi Olanrewaju has urged his team to shift focus to their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign, following their CAF Confederation Cup group stage qualification, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The People's Elephant secured a thrilling victory over Burkina Faso's Etoile Filante on Sunday, but Yemi insists they must now concentrate on domestic success.
"We have put the game against EFO behind us and now we have to get back to the league," Yemi told Enyimba media.
Enyimba host Lobi Stars in a rescheduled matchday three fixture at the Enyimba International Stadium on Wednesday.
"We will try and climb up the table; seeing us in that position is not something comfortable," Yemi added.
"All the energy is now on the game against Lobi Stars, and we are motivated to get it done."
With their Confederation Cup progress secured, Enyimba can now focus on improving their NPFL standing.
A win against Lobi Stars would provide valuable momentum, and Yemi's men are determined to capitalize on their current confidence boost.
