Enyimba head coach Stanley Eguma says his goal for the 2025/26 season is to win the Nigeria Premier Football League or, at worst, secure a continental ticket, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Speaking during the club’s pre-season preparations ahead of their opening clash against newcomers Barau FC, Eguma stressed that ambition is non-negotiable at a club with Enyimba’s pedigree.

“Before the management sets a target for me, I’ve already set one for myself,” he said. “We’re nine-time NPFL champions and two-time African champions. Anything short of that would not be a good achievement.”

Eguma, who joined Enyimba mid-season last term and guided them from 11th to sixth, has won two NPFL titles and a Federation Cup with Rivers United, and was assistant coach when Enyimba retained the CAF Champions League in 2004.
