Nigerian Youngstar Osikel To Sign Professional Terms with NK Domzale Today

Nigeria U-17 World cup winner Joel Osikel will later today put pen to paper on a four year deal with Slovenian side NK Domzale. The prospect impressed the handlers of NK Domzale during a short training period earlier this year and was offered a deal that will become active when he turns 18 on the 17th of June.

Osikel who have been posting fine performances for the team since they resumed for pre season training will be 18 years old today hence he is expected to formally put pen to paper to commit his short term future to the Slovenian side.

His last club was Nigerian non league side Young Eleven FC, the club he represented when he played for Nigeria during the last U-17 World Cup which Nigeria won in Chile courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Mali in the final.

At the U-17 World cup last year he played two games for Nigeria, starting in the group game against Croatia and coming on as a substitute in the semi final clash against Mexico.
