Nigerian side Kano Pillars arrange to play Hearts, Liberty and Inter Allies during Ghana tour
Nigeria champions Kano Pillars are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to impress in this year’s CAF Champions League as they have arranged to play test matches with top Ghanaian clubs next month.
The special committee set up by the state government and headed by the deputy Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje are working round the clock in conjunction with the management to give Nigeria a good representation.
The committee's vice chairman Ibrahim Galadima told the players and officials about the committee's programmes for the team.
The former NFF boss revealed that Pillars will depart Abuja on February 2 for a week-long training tour of Ghana, where they will play against Ghana Premier league clubs Accra Hearts of Oak, Liberty Professionals and Inter Allies Football Club.
He also said the committee will use the expanded Super 4 tournament, which kicks off on Saturday in Abuja to assess the players’ commitment.
