Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's dramatic late winner at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo secured all three points for Augustine Eguavoen's side.

The narrow victory propelled the Super Eagles to the summit with seven points, leapfrogging Benin Republic, who earlier thrashed Rwanda 3-0.

Nigeria's decisive win sets up a tantalizing clash against Libya's Mediterranean Knights in three days' time.
