Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi is optimistic that the Super Eagles will improve from now on, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Despite the arrays of stars in the senior national team, Nigeria have been on a rough patch. The Eagles failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and have struggled to play to full potentials.

After arresting a four game winless streak away at Guinea Bissau, Alhaji Sanusi  is hopeful the team will regain top form soon.

“The former board have done their best but we want to improve on what was done in the past,” Sanusi told NFF TV.

“We have seen areas where we think there is need for improvements. I can assure you that very soon, you will see a more improved Super Eagles.”

The Super Eagles will be in action again in June when they will take on the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.
