New Edubiase chief Alex Ackumey insists the change of home venue is not to be blamed for their difficult Premier League campaign this season.
Edubiase switched their home venue to Obuasi after the Bekwai Park was passed unfit to host Premier League matches.
The side has struggled this term which has largely been attributed to the decision to play home matches at the Len Clay stadium.
But th club’s chief executive Alex Ackumey insists their downward spiral has got nothing to do with change of venue.
“We have not regretted going to Obuasi. We play better and we are more comfortable in Obuasi than Bekwai. I don’t want to compare both venues but in terms of having a good pitch, Obuasi has been the best,” Ackumey told Starr FM.
Edubiase must lift themselves from the drop zone as they lie 15th on the league table after the first round of matches.
