Besiktas confirmed the departure of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Thursday night, citing disappointing results.

Solskjaer took charge of Besiktas in January and guided the team to a fourth-place finish last season.

However, their European campaign was marred by disappointment, including a 2-1 aggregate loss to Lausanne in the Europa Conference League play-offs.

Ndidi played the full 90 minutes in the second-leg match.

Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder and coach Nuri ?ahin has been linked with the vacant managerial position at Besiktas.

Ndidi will now look to adapt to the new manager's tactics and style.
