The Azzurri were back at the Konami Training Centre on Wednesday to continue their preparations for the trip to face Leicester City in the Europa League on Thursday night. The match will take place at the King Power Stadium in Leicester, with kick-off set for 21:00 CEST. At the training ground on Wednesday, the squad warmed up with some rondos and speed drills before focusing on a minimatch, tactics and set plays.
Alex Meret received treatment and worked out in the gym, while Stanislav Lobotka and Diego Demme had individual sessions outside. Mario Rui trained with the group for part of the session, working separately for the remainder. Dries Mertes and Faouzi Ghoulam trained with the squad for the full session.
