Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer is out of danger having come off injured while in action for Catania in an Italian Serie-B match on Sunday.

The 18-year-old was hurled off in the 69th minute after pulling a muscle in the narrow 1-0 win over Avellino.

Odjer was replaced by Argentine Gonzalo Escalante in the game played at the Stadio Angelo Massimino.

The Ghana U20 star’s injury has however been allayed after undergoing further tests on Monday.

Odjer is now only required to rest for two-days before resuming training.

The defensive midfielder has been a regular feature of the Catania side in recent weeks.
