Nigeria’s Victor Moses appears to have shrugged off an injury scare and could feature for Chelsea in their Premier League match at Stoke City this afternoon.
The wingback limped out of the Blues’ 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup on Monday and it was speculated that he could be out of action for at least a couple of weeks
However, fears that the player will miss Nigeria’s friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso later this month have been allayed with news that he trained without discomfort on Friday.
“Victor, today he trained well, I think he is available,” Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said at a press conference yesterday.
“For the game against Stoke it is important to check a couple of situations.”
Moses has been a key figure for Chelsea as they march toward the Premier League title. The Blues will face Stoke away from home, with kick-off at 17h00 CAT.
