Former Brazil forward Bruno Moraes has urged patience regarding the start of Terem Moffi at FC Porto, insisting the Nigerian striker requires more time to fully adjust to the club’s tactical demands and playing philosophy, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

Moffi completed a switch to the Portuguese heavyweights during the January transfer window from OGC Nice, but he has yet to find the back of the net since making the move to Portugal. The 24-year-old is still adapting to a new environment, new teammates, and a different competitive rhythm.

Speaking in an interview with Desporto ao Minuto, Moraes admitted that Porto have not been as ruthless in attack as supporters typically expect. However, he pointed out that the team has remained compact and disciplined at the back, managing games efficiently and securing valuable points even when winning by narrow margins.

The former Brazilian international added that he believes goals will soon start coming, especially as players like Deniz Gul and Moffi continue to settle into the squad. According to him, adaptation varies from player to player; some adjust immediately, while others need additional time before delivering their best form.
