After a disappointing start of the season, Toronto FC won its first game defeating Columbus SC 2-0. Goals have scored by former Chievo-Verona and Roma midfielder Michael Bradley (who had an assist as well) and US International Jozy Altidore. The former Sunderland striker was able to score his first goal of the season coming from the bench after hitting the crossbar.

Defending Champs Columbus SC lost their first game 8 games and haven't started the season as well as expected with only 1 win. Columbus SC has allowed in this game half of the goals they have allowed in the previous 8 games.

In the next game Toronto FC will travel to Orlando, Florida to play against Orlando City SC at Exploria Stadium who has started this season with only 1 win too.
