Mickey Osei Berko declares interest in Kotoko coaching job

Famous Ghanaian radio and TV personality Mickey Osei Berko has declared his readiness to take up the coaching position of Asante Kotoko if given the opportunity.

The Porcupine warriors are yet to name a substantive head coach since asking Mas-Ud Dramani to go on a Garden leave following series of disappointing results.

Ex-Ghana international Kim Grant, former Sewe Sports coach Rigo Gervis have all publicly declared their interest in the taking up the position.

With Mickey Osei Berko who has a UEFA license B coaching certificate the latest to add to the growing list of aspirants.

“Kotoko is a big club and the prospect of coaching such a big club certainly looks enticing,” Mickey told Accra based Asempa FM

“Given the opportunity I will prove my worth.

“I do not know if I will apply for it but it’s an opportunity I don’t think will turn down if given the opportunity.”

Mickey doubles up as a radio presenter and the manager of Youth Olympic winning medalist Martha Bissah.
