Mario Gila says Inter also made contact before AC Milan move

AC Milan paid tens of millions of euros for Spanish defender Mario Gila and won the race for his signature ahead of city rivals Inter, according to the player.

“Inter also contacted me,” Gila said, confirming that both Milan clubs had shown interest before his move.

The defender previously played for Lazio in Rome.
