Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be sidelined for at least two weeks after suffering an adductor injury in Wednesday's 3-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Lloris was a conspicuous absence from the France squad on Thursday when it was named by national team boss Didier Deschamps for this month's friendlies against Wales on Nov. 10 and Germany in Cologne four days later.

But Deschamps told reporters that Lloris, who usually captains France, had suffered "a tear of the big adductor."

The France coach added: "He has undergone tests this morning, he'll be out for at least 15 days."

Lloris played the full 90 minutes as Tottenham defeated European champions Madrid at Wembley, but after the game he told beIN SPORTS "I felt something when I landed" after jumping to claim a cross.
