Liberty assistant coach Felix Aboagye wants fans to be calm over relegation threats following Hearts defeat

Assistant coach of Liberty Professionals Felix Aboagye insists the defeat to Hearts of Oak on Wednesday is not a fatal blow to hurting their status of being a Premier League club.

The Scientific Soccer lads were not strong enough to hold the inspired Phobians before their home fans in Dansoman.

A second half strike by Foovi Aguidi was just enough to hand the visitors the crucial maximum points as they bid to storm out of the relegation zone.

Liberty themselves could be pulled back into the relegation dogfight if they fail to pick up points in their final matches.

But assistant coach Felix Aboagye wants to fans to be calm as he is confident the side will not be amongst the strugglers to beat the drop with just four matches remaining.

“Our life doesn’t depend on this game,” he said.

“There is no need to panic because we still have four games to play.

“We can go to Wa to get some points so there is no need to panic.”
