Nigerian striker Leke James has successfully had surgery on his fractured left ankle.

The Sivasspor of Turkey forward suffered the injury during a UEFA Europa Conference League Group G match against Slavia Praha, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
On Wednesday James had the surgery done by Prof. Dr Omar Farooq Tasher at the Ac?badem Fulya Hospital Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist hospital in Turkey.

The Nigerian is now expected to be sidelined for at least eight weeks as he recuperates. from his injury.
