Nottingham Forest have named Sabri Lamouchi as their new head coach after confirming that Martin O'Neill has left The City Ground.
O'Neill had only been appointed in January but failed to guide the club to the Championship play-offs last season.
He made 371 appearances and scored 62 goals for Forest during a 10-year-spell at the club during his playing career.
The Northern Irishman also played for Norwich City, Manchester City and Notts County while his managerial career started at Wycombe Wanderers and also took in spells with Leicester City, Celtic, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Republic of Ireland.
O'Neill's assistant, Roy Keane, left The City Ground last week.
Meanwhile, Lamouchi was most recently in charge of French side Rennes. The 47-year-old Frenchman has also managed the Ivory Coast, guiding the Elephants to the 2014 World Cup and the quarter-finals of the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
He also enjoyed a spell in charge of the Qatari side El Jaish SC.
During his playing career, Lamouchi made over 470 appearances for 10 clubs, including Auxerre, Monaco, Parma, Inter Milan and Marseille as well as appearing 12 times for France.
Nottingham Forest are 5/1 to be promoted from the Championship in the 2019/20 season while Leeds United can be backed at 15/8, Derby County at 11/2 and Middlesbrough at 4/1.
