Influential Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku says he is surprised by the impact David Duncan has had at the club since signing on.

The former Hearts of Oak coach is yet to taste defeat and has enjoyed maximum success after plotting their 3-1 victory over Bechem united last weekend.

Dunacn also engineered the team’s impressive 0-0 drawn game against MC EL Eulma in the CAF champion’s league first leg tie.

Jordan Opoku says he is surprised how the team has bought into the ideology of the tough talking coach.

“The way the team is responding to Duncan surprises me because we were really having challenges before he came in but he has done a lot already,” Jordan Opoku told Citi FM

“Didi for me is a wonderful coach and I think he and Duncan are not so different.

“For me the most important thing is kotoko and that is why I think Duncan has done so well to since coming in.”
