The current board and management according to reports will soon be replaced by club owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has been tipped to be the new administrative head of the club.

But Opoku Nti says these fast circulating reports are only having a negative effect on the club especially in their transfer market.

“These reports do not affect me as an individual,” he said.

“I am doing my job for Kotoko and when time is up for me to go, I will hand over peacefully.

“It is rather affecting the club because players and managers are reluctant to negotiate with me because of reports that I will soon be leaving.

“The club is rather suffering from these reports.”

Opoku Nti took over the administrative reigns of the club two years ago following the resignation of Dr. K.K Sarpong.

Kotoko finished the just ended season trophyless having won the league and FA Cup double in the previous campaign.
