The management of the Nigeria league side Katsina United is set to commence preparations for the upcoming 2022/2023 season.
The team had a season to forget in 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League finishing in the 16th position on the table and getting got relegated to Nigeria National League (NNL).
The management on Sunday announced that they have invited 120 players to kick start the team's screening exercise that will last for a week.
According to Team Director Saleh Yusuf, players were invited across the 34 local governments of the state and also from the team feeders.
He further said they aim to revamp the team ahead of the new season and allow the locally based players to display their talents.
The screening exercise will commence on the 28th of September to the 6th of October 2022.
