As reported by several news outlet, Italian powerhouse Juventus seems to be in the lead in the competition to sign Super Falcons attacker in Jennifer Echegini after calling it quit on her stay with Florida State Women Soccer Team.

Prior to this latest development, Echegini had announced in December 2023 that she would be leaving the Florida State women's soccer team after a two-year contract, ending an amazing chapter in her college career, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The fact that Echegini won the women's soccer Honda Sport Award in December served as a shining testament to her outstanding 2023 campaign.

The senior from London, England, contributed a remarkable career-high and ACC-leading 16 goals to the Seminoles' victorious run to become the 2023 National Champions.

To further highlight her impact on the field, she received the awards for ACC Tournament MVP and ACC Offensive Player of the Year.

According to TMW, Echegini has drawn the attention of Juventus, who are eager to add elite talent to their roster after his stellar performance.
