Ghana international defender Jerry Akaminko has mourned Eskisehirspor's poor form in the Turkish Super Lig and said he hopes to return to action soon.
Eskisehirspor are just a place above the relegation zone and must up their performance if they are to beat the drop.
They have won just three of their last 11 games in all competitions and they must improve their form if they are to survive.
The 26-year-old has missed all of the Red Lightnings' domestic games this season and has spent almost a year on the sidelines with a nagging ankle injury he suffered while on international duty with Ghana last May.
Akaminko says he does not feel happy about his side's form and hope to join them soon.
"The team is going through difficult times in the league. I feel sorry I'm not ready to help but I'll join the rest of the squad soon to help lift the club," he said.
Akaminko's last game for Eskisehirspor was a 1-1 stalemate with Gaziantepspor in early May 2014.
