Iwobi scored both goals for Fulham in the thrilling encounter at the London Stadium, but ultimately ended up on the losing side.

The Nigerian international expressed his disappointment at the defeat, but emphasized the importance of quickly turning their attention to their next fixture.

"We're all disappointed the way we lost the game, just mistakes," Iwobi told Fulham TV. "Had we not made the mistakes, we would have won it.

"But then there's a game around the corner and so we cannot dwell on it, so we dust ourselves and go again.

"We created so many chances and hit the post twice, but if you don't defend as a team, you get punished in the Premier League."

Iwobi has been in impressive form this season, scoring seven goals and registering three assists.

Fulham currently occupy ninth position on the Premier League table with 30 points, and will look to bounce back from their defeat when they travel to Leicester City on Saturday.
