Italian Serie A side, Cremonese, have lauded their striker’s performance against the locally based team of Algeria at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine on Friday.
Cyriel Dessers and Alex Iwobi were on for the Super Eagles as they drew 2-2 with Algeria B team.
The Algerian team went into the break with a 1-0 lead through CR Belouizdad forward Karim Aribi before Everton’s Alex Iwobi equalized for the Super Eagles.
Dessers then turned the game around in the second goal for Jose Peseiro’s side.
The newly-promoted Italian club on Saturday posted on Twitter.
"Cyril Dessers also took to the field in the 2-2 draw in the test match against Algeria. One of the two goals for Nigeria bears his signature."
The Super Eagles will go head to head with the main Desert Foxes of Algeria team on Tuesday September 27.
Algeria will be going into the game on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Guinea on the evening of Friday, 23 September.
