Super Eagles B have lost their friendly match against Costa Rica at the San Jose National Stadium, Costa Rica on Wednesday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The Nigeria team fell by two goals to nil courtesy of a goal in each halves of the encounter.
The Ticos drew the first blood early in the game through Oscar Duarte whose right footed shot from the center of the box beat Nigeria goalkeeper and captain Bankole in the 7th minute.
The second goal came in the 73rd minute from Kendall Waston's header with assist by Joel Campbell.
This is the second friendly match loss in a couple of months for the Eagles after a 1-2 loss to Algeria.
Nigeria will play another international friendly match with World Cup bound Portugal on 17th November, 2022.
