Injury rules out Terem Moffi for several months

Nigeria Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi will be out of football action for six to nine months after the revelation of an injury to his knee, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

A statement from OGC Nice on Tuesday evening revealed that the Super Eagles forward  has suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture in his left knee.

The former Lorient striker is expected to miss the better part of the next Ligue 1 season.

Moffi, 25 sustained the injury during Les Aiglons’ preseason training camp in Austria.

It’s a serious blow for Franck Haise’s OGC Nice who has to deal with the absence of the Nigeria international who scored 20 goals and five assists in 52 games after 18 months of joining the club.

The club is already seeking to get another striker with latest development.
