Real Madrid must make 20-day break count, says Jorge Valdano

Former Real Madrid manager Jorge Valdano says Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff must use the 20-day international break to address the team’s problems.

Valdano believes Real Madrid have a limited period in which to make the necessary improvements after an inconsistent start to the season.

The Spanish club are fourth in the table with 15 points after seven rounds.
