Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler says Nigerian winger Femi Azeez is making progress towards a return from injury.
Azeez has yet to make his debut for the Premier League club since joining, having been sidelined by the injury. However, Hurzeler’s latest update suggests the winger is approaching full fitness.
The German manager said three injured players were moving closer to a return, with Azeez the furthest along.
“The three players were getting closer to a return, especially Femi,” Hurzeler said.
He later underlined the player’s positive progress, adding: “He's getting closer, Femi.”
Despite the encouraging assessment, Hurzeler did not set a date for Azeez’s return to training or confirm when the Nigerian could make his first appearance for Brighton & Hove Albion.
