Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim Musa has stated that he believes his side will overtake current league leaders Akwa United within the next set of league games.

Akwa United are set to face games against second-place Nasarawa United in midweek, after which they play away to Plateau united and host Enyimba before playing away to Rivers United.

Musa speaking in a chat with newsmen revealed that he was obviously excited to see Akwa United lose their unbeaten record of 18 games in the league and now expects the Uyo based side to further capitulate with his team just a point behind the set to pounce on loose openings and take over the top position.
