Nigerian midfielder Auwal Ibrahim has signed a three-year contract with Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The young playmaker joins the Red and Whites after impressing with his performances in the Nigeria Premier Football League with Akwa United.

Ibrahim's recent exploits with Nigeria's Flying Eagles at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in May caught the attention of several clubs.

He scored the winning goal in the team's 1-0 victory over Tunisia and was named Man of the Match.

The versatile midfielder is expected to be a key player for Etoile du Sahel and is also likely to feature for the Flying Eagles at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
